The Inheritance of Revelation

The difference between a defeated Christian and a victorious Christian is revelation. While many possess theology and doctrine, it is revelation that sets an individual apart. There is a vast spiritual storehouse available to the believer, much like a room hidden within a mountain filled with gold and treasures. The Lord has declared that there is enough for everyone and there is more.

Deuteronomy 29:29 – The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever that we may do all the words of this law.

When God reveals a secret thing to you, it becomes more than a temporary blessing; it becomes an inheritance for your children. Therefore, in any area of struggle, it is vital to be humble enough to admit a lack of revelation rather than attempting to justify the pain.

Avoiding the Theology of Pain

A significant danger for believers is the tendency to create theology based on personal experiences, especially during seasons of suffering. We must never formulate our understanding of God from “the valley” or a downhill season. When hurt and discomfort become the basis for doctrine, they become strongholds that can lead to offense when compared to the truth of God’s Word.We must let the Word of God define our experiences rather than letting our experiences define the Word. True theology a genuine understanding of God gives life and moves the believer from one level of glory to another. It is not enough to merely talk about the Kingdom; there must be a demonstration of the Kingdom and visible fruit.

Searching Out the Matter

Proverbs 25:2 – It’s the glory of God to conceal a matter and it is the glory of kings to search them out.

The Entrance of Light

Much of what is labeled as suffering is actually self-inflicted through ignorance and darkness. To see change, one must move into the light.

Psalm 119:130 – The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.

The entrance of your word brings light.. Just as God called for light before shaping the cosmos, He requires light to move in your life today.Until you see Jesus as the light in the specific area of your suffering, there is no hope for change. We must be humble enough to ask Him to teach us how to pray, moving away from pride and traditionalism. Praying from a place of lack or pain only produces more of the same. Instead, we must worship and pray from the truth of our position in Christ.

Seated in Heavenly Places

The spiritual reality is that you are already seated with Christ in heavenly places. At God’s level, there are no problems. If you are consumed by problems, it indicates that while you may be seated there positionally, your mind has not yet ascended to that reality.Your perspective determines your life. If you look up to your problems, they will drag you down; however, when you look at God, you gain the perspective to look down at your problems. Deuteronomy 28:1 promises: The Lord shall set you high above all nations of the earth.

From Discipline to Delight

The transition to the next level requires an upgrade in spiritual appetite. One must move from merely having a desire to pray and read the Word into a state of discipline. This discipline is fueled by grace.

1 Corinthians 15:10 –  But by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them. Though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

When discipline is established, it eventually overflows into delight. Those who delight in the Word are like trees planted by streams of water they are fruitful, they never go dry, and they prosper in whatever they do. By feeding your spirit man with the living and active Word of God, you will find the revelation necessary to unlock your next level.

Overcoming the Victim Mindset

A victim mindset is a barrier that prevents prayers from being answered. When the gospel truly works in a person’s life, it drives out the tendency to justify problems or seek sympathy through suffering. We must stop validating our pain such as justifying a lack of authority because of physical symptoms and instead start speaking like kings.God has already changed your “title” by seating you far above all nations. If you were told you were set high above a major corporation, you would act with authority; how much more should you act with authority knowing you are seated with Christ? Walking in victory requires a revelation that shifts you from seeking compassion for your struggle to exercising authority over it.

The Dependency on Grace

Spiritual growth and the ability to engage with the Word are not products of human strength but of divine grace. Even the desire to pray or read the Bible is a gift of grace. When you ask for grace, God provides the “Level One” experience: the desire. As this grace upgrades, it produces “Level Two”: discipline. This discipline is not merely a human routine but a supernatural empowerment, as described in .But by the grace of God, I am what I am. And his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them. Though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.. Without this grace, spiritual activities feel like a burden or a demonic weight, but with it, the believer is empowered to work harder and go deeper than they ever could alone.

The Sustaining Power of the Word

The Word of God is living and active, providing a unique kind of energy that the world cannot offer. There is a profound difference between worldly entertainment and spiritual feeding. For instance, watching a movie for several hours can leave a person feeling “dried up” and drained. In contrast, spending hours in the Word of God transforms a person into a “rocket” that can soar. Because the Word is living, it remains fresh every day, much like the manna provided to the Israelites. By consistently feeding the spirit man with this revelation, a believer ensures they never go dry and remain fruitful in every season.
