The house of the Lord is the most happening place. It’s a house of joy. Amen. It’s not a house of remorse. It’s not a house of sadness and regret. One word from the Lord—one word from the Lord—can change a life. Let me show you something before we get to the Word.
Habakkuk 3:17 – “Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail, and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls.”
I’ll paraphrase this for your context: Though there is no money in your bank balance, though there is no promotion your boss is talking about, though there is economic depression, though the sun is coming down—though everything around you is negative, verse
Habakkuk 3:18 – “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.”
We are not joyful because things are good; we are joyful because we know a good Father. Amen. And because we know a good Father, life is good. Regardless of what looks bad in the natural—how bad it gets—how does it matter? We have a good Father. He is still on the throne. He’s not dead. And as long as He is not dead, you have hope. Amen. You can experience heaven on this earth.
I want to talk to you today about the blessing, and especially about how to stay in the blessing. You see, you can get an impartation of a blessing from someone just by the laying on of hands. You can receive an impartation, but you need the teaching to stay in the blessing.
Jesus prayed so that the sick would be healed, but the majority of His time was spent teaching them so they could stay in the healing. The anointing can set you free, but it’s what you learn from the Word that will keep you free.
That’s why the fruit of your life is the culmination of what you’ve learned. That’s why we need to learn how to stay in the blessing. We need to learn everything that God has given us. How do we stay? How do we stay in the reality of the kingdom?
In Matthew 6:10, Jesus taught His disciples to pray like this:
Matthew 6:10 – “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
God’s will is for earth to become like heaven. God’s will is for your life to become like heaven. God’s will is for your house to become like heaven. God’s will is for your family to be like heaven. It is God’s will that you experience heaven right here, right now.
You know, I used to think that I needed to die to get to heaven, which is true in some sense, because each one of us has already died in Jesus. We’re all dead people. Yes, we all died in Jesus. That’s why we are a new creation in Him. Amen. That’s why you are not waiting for your physical death to happen to enter heaven—you are already in heaven right now.
See, Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, and He says: “The one who is talking to you right now is right now in heaven.” That means you are in two places at the same time. As much as your body is here in Delhi right now, your spirit is in heaven with God.
So as much as you are seated here, you are also seated with Christ. Now it’s your choice. From where do you operate? Do you operate from your earthly position, or do you operate from your heavenly position? It’s not dependent on God; it is dependent on you.
What do you decide? God’s desire for you is for your world to become like heaven.
In heaven, is there sickness? In heaven, is there poverty? In heaven, is there any kind of limitation? No.
Then, so shall your life be—in Jesus’ name! Without the blessing, our lives are cursed. Just like light—without light, there will always be darkness. Without the blessing, there will be a curse. It is the blessing that overrides the curse. You are the blessing. You are called to be a blessing so that you can override the curse that is on the earth.
So, let’s understand what the blessing is. Let’s go back to Genesis 1. Why did God create us? Why did God create us?
Genesis 1:26 – “Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'”
“All the earth.” Yes, all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Charles Capps, a man of God, once said, “You have dominion over creeps.”
You have been created in the image and likeness of God to have dominion—to be an overcomer! See, Adam in the garden could have all the animals lined up, and none of the animals would dare to attack him because they knew he was created for dominion. You are created for dominion. Amen. There is no challenge out there that you cannot take dominion over—no medical report, no lack of qualification. You are called for dominion. Now, how? How do we take dominion?
Genesis 1:28 – “And God blessed them. And He said to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'”
How do you take dominion? Four steps to take dominion in any area of your life. You can take dominion just by following these four steps:
But see, before God said, “Be fruitful,” what did He do in verse 28? “God blessed them.” He cannot expect you to be fruitful if He doesn’t give you the power to be fruitful. He cannot expect you to be fruitful if He doesn’t give you a seed. The seed to be fruitful is the seed of blessing. The first thing that God did when He created mankind was to bless them.
See, what is the blessing? The blessing is the same power with which God created the entire universe. The power that God used to create the universe, He has put inside mankind. That’s why the blessing is the power to produce. Are you with me? Without the blessing, we cannot resupply when things run out. It’s the blessing that makes you fruitful. It’s the blessing that makes you multiply. It’s the blessing that fills the earth. It’s the blessing that subdues and takes dominion. Amen.
Now, quickly, I’ll tell you what this blessing can do for you:
Deuteronomy 28:1 -“If you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.”
You are called to be the head and not the tail. You can start from the bottom in your company, but that’s not where you’re going to end. You are going to rise up. They don’t have the revelation yet, but you do. The blessing of the Lord will take you to the top.
Daniel 1:20 – “And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in his kingdom.”
The blessing will make you ten times better.
Numbers 23:23 -“There is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel.”
When you have the blessing of God, no black magic, no divination, no spell will work against you. The blessing is more powerful than any curse.
Genesis 26:12-13 – “And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, and the man became rich and gained more and more until he became very wealthy.”
This is what the blessing can do—it can override the curse. Any curse around you can be overridden by the blessing within you.
It doesn’t matter where you are. You can be in India, in a village, and still prosper. Europeans will come because of the blessing that is upon your life. See, let me show you the next verse. Verse 14: “He had possessions of flocks and herds and many servants, so that the Philistines envied him.” You’ll be so blessed that your enemies will envy you. Let’s look at verse 16: “And Abimelech said to Isaac, ‘Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.'” By the way, Abimelech is the king of the Philistines. A king comes to Isaac and says, “Please, can you go away? Because you’re mightier than us. We cannot take care of you.” Kings will be afraid of you because the blessing inside can override the curse. Amen.
What can the blessing do? Let’s start from the beginning:
Okay, so how do you receive this blessing? See, when God created man, He blessed him with the blessing. Now, once He blessed him, the blessing comes with a purpose.
When you are blessed, it comes with a purpose. The blessing that God put on Adam was so that he could work in the Garden of Eden. I did some research, and it’s understood that the Garden of Eden was as big as the country of Iraq. But God said, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it.” That means God wanted the garden not just to be limited to that area but for it to fill the earth. The blessing on Adam’s life was the heaven that was on the earth in the garden to fill the earth. That was the assignment. And God has not backed out from that assignment. The assignment is still upon us as well. But Adam forfeited the blessing because he forfeited it after he sinned. Now, there’s no blessing. Now, wherever he goes, there’s only curse—curse, curse, curse. But God has a plan for redemption because once He dreams and plans what He wants to do, He will get it done. So, He finds a man named Abraham, and He blesses him.
Genesis 12:1-3 – “Now the Lord said to Abraham, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’”
God chose Abraham to complete the work that He gave Adam so that in him all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Are you part of a family? Yes. Then God chose Abraham to be a blessing to you. Now, look at the blessing. What does the blessing of Abraham look like? Genesis 13:2 says:
Genesis 13:2 – “Now, Abraham was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold.”
See, now you’re catching up. Good, good. So, Abraham became very rich because of the blessing. Everything that he had began to multiply—his livestock, his silver, his gold—even his dogs, you know, multiplied.
Let me show you another verse.
Genesis 24:1 – “Now, Abraham was old, well advanced in years, and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.”
Abraham is 175 years old. But see, being well advanced in years, the Lord preserved him. The Lord blessed him in all things—all things.
Genesis 24:35 – “The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great. He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male servants and female servants, camels and donkeys.”
You want the blessing of Abraham? The blessing of Abraham!
Galatians 3:29 – “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.”
See, when Abraham had a child, his name was Isaac. The Lord blessed Abraham, and Abraham blessed his son Isaac. Blessings are transferable. How are they transferred? By words. That’s why you need to take the words that are blessed over your life seriously because blessing comes in the form of words.
Now, Isaac blesses his son Jacob with words. Now, Jacob blesses his children with words. Now, the people of Israel are blessed because of the blessing of Abraham. But because you and I have received Jesus, we have become the offspring of Abraham, the people of Israel. They came from the body of Abraham, and that’s why they were blessed. But we, who are in Christ, come from a spiritual heritage, not from the flesh. Remember, God told Abraham, “Look at the stars. Can you count the stars?” And He said, “Can you count the sand on the seashore?” The people of the flesh are like the sand on the seashore, but the people who are from the spirit are like the stars in the sky. If the sand on the seashore can be so blessed, how much more the stars in the sky? You are spiritual. We are children of Abraham. Why? Because we have Christ.
Galatians 3:13 – “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.'”
Jesus became a curse for us. Why did Jesus become a curse for us?
Galatians 3:14 – “So that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.”
Jesus became a curse so that we can receive the blessing of Abraham. That’s why no generational curse is upon you anymore—because Jesus has become the curse. No generational curse. Amen. Amen. Every generational curse stopped on the cross. If a generational curse is still operating in your life, it means you need to die with Jesus on the cross. Simple as that. You died with Jesus so you were raised with Him.
The blessing of Abraham is what you receive through the Promised Spirit by faith. Or, the promised Holy Spirit is the blessing of Abraham. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus. Jesus is the blessing of Abraham. The blessing is not a “what.” The blessing is a “who.” His name is Jesus. There is a little unbelief here—blessing is not a “what”; blessing is a “who.” His name is Jesus.
The spiritual blessing is singular, but it can manifest in multiple physical blessings. If you have the blessing but not the blessings, you are still blessed. But if you have the blessings but not the blessing, you are not blessed. You become blessed because you have the blessing. Blessing. Amen. Jesus is the blessing. Anything that you are seeking for is in Jesus. He is the blessing.
And this blessing is inside of you when you received Him in your heart. That’s why Romans 8:32 says:
Romans 8:32 -“He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?”
Jesus is the complete package of blessing that you need. You don’t need any other blessing other than Him. In the complete package of blessing in Jesus, you have peace, healing, deliverance, prosperity, promotion—anything that you need for a life of godliness is in Jesus, and that Jesus is inside of you. Amen.
But see,
Galatians 3:14 – “So that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, that the promised Holy Spirit can be received by faith.”
This blessing you receive by faith. How many of you have the blessing? Jesus. If you have the blessing, that is Jesus, then by faith, you can have the blessings come out. See, the problem is that these blessings come by faith. These blessings come by faith, and faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes by the Word of God. So, when you hear God’s Word, you have faith rising up within you. And when you have faith rising up within you, you can access all of these blessings that are in the One whose name is the blessing. That’s why most Christians are not living a blessed life, even though they have Jesus. It’s because they don’t know how to receive those blessings by faith.
That’s what the Bible says,
Romans 1:17 -“The just shall live by faith.”
Don’t live by money. Live by faith. If you have faith, nothing is impossible for you. If you have faith, all things are possible for you because the blessing is inside of you. You can withdraw blessings from this blessing. See, the blessing is invisible, but the fruit of the blessing is visible. I cannot show you my blessing, but I can show you the fruit of my blessing because a blessing always has an invisible supply—an unlimited invisible supply. You know when Jesus was healing sick people, there were people who were maimed, who came to Him. They were maimed. They didn’t have limbs, but as Jesus healed them, what happened? They got new limbs. Are you hearing me? They got new limbs. Where did the limbs come from? From the blessing. The blessing has an invisible supply.
So just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it is not there. Just like I believe that you have a brain, even though I can’t see it, blessing has an invisible supply. You receive from that invisible supply by faith. See, look at the story of Jesus in Luke 5. Jesus comes to Peter and says, “Can I take your boat to preach?” And after Jesus teaching and preaching, He tells Peter, “Take the boat into the deep and cast your net.” Now, the previous night, Peter had toiled all night, and he didn’t catch anything. Peter, who was the expert fisherman, knew the lake better than anyone. So, who knew the lake better, Jesus or Peter? But Peter, being humble, says, “Lord, I’ve toiled all night and day, but at Your word, I shall do it.” Because when the Word of God comes to you, don’t forget to act on it. Act on God’s Word. It’ll challenge your natural thinking, but when the Word of God comes, just do it.
What happened when Peter cast his net? They caught such a large load of fish that the boat started sinking. The nets started breaking. They had to call their partners to help them out. That one blessing did not just change Peter’s financial status, it changed the economy of that city. Economic blessing. One blessing. But here’s my question: Where did the fish come from? Peter had fished all night and found nothing. So, where did the fish come from? The fish were not in the lake. The blessing resupplied because the blessing has an invisible supply.
That’s why don’t get disappointed when you don’t see it. The blessing has an invisible supply to refill it. In 2 Kings 4, there’s a story about a widow who goes to Prophet Elisha. She says, “I am in debt. My husband has died, and I don’t know what to do. I have children, help me out.” The prophet asks, “What do you have?” She says, “I only have a jar of oil.” So the prophet says, “Go out to your neighbors and bring large vessels. Don’t take a few, take as many as you can.” So she brought all the vessels inside the house, closed all the doors, and started pouring the oil. She filled one jar, and as the oil was depleting, it began to refill itself. Again. That’s why don’t get worried when you see your bank balance dropping because as it gets depleted, it will get filled again.
She kept pouring the oil from one vessel to another, and the oil kept flowing. When the vessels were over, that’s when the oil stopped flowing. As many vessels as you have, you will have that much oil because the blessing has an invisible supply. Even if you don’t see the blessing, don’t get disappointed because the fruit of the blessing you shall see.
When the Lord gave us a word about this place, we did not see this place, but we knew that it was there in the invisible. But today, you are seeing the fruit, the fruit of this blessing. I’m saying this church, if this church is your church, it’s a snapshot of your life. Whatever you see in this church is a snapshot of your life. When the church is growing, believe that you are growing. When the church finances are increasing, you believe that it is increasing in your life as well as a family. We’re connected to each other. We are the body of Christ. When you have a lovely meal that goes in your stomach, your entire body is rejoicing. Just like that, a church breakthrough is your breakthrough.
That’s why we are praying for the enlargement of the church because as a church grows, you will grow. As the kingdom grows, you will grow. I’m telling you, you cannot outgrow the church. You cannot outgrow the kingdom. As the kingdom grows, you will grow. That’s why your growth is directly proportional to the growth of the kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 6: “Seek first the kingdom of God…” So, as the kingdom within you grows, you will grow.
So don’t let anxiety come and steal away your joy because the blessing inside of you is the blessing to take dominion over the earth. It’s a blessing to take dominion over the earth. You’re thinking small. You’re thinking of being in business for this village, but God has called you to be a global business. The blessing will take you to the top as an invisible supply. But with faith, you can draw from that invisible supply. By faith, you can draw from the invisible supply.
Now, this is what I need you to get right. Don’t focus on the blessings. Focus on the blessing. His name is Jesus. If you focus on the blessing, you will never be disappointed. Because every blessing that you have, you can see it being depleted. But when you focus on the blessing, everything that is depleted, it will refill again. A constant flow. Amen. Focus on the blessing. That’s when you pray. When you have these needs and requests, see the answer being met in Jesus. Because if Jesus cannot satisfy your need, are you with me? Yes. You have to see Jesus becoming the answer. Jesus does not just give answers. He becomes your answer. Jesus does not give healing; He becomes your healing. Jesus does not just give strength; He becomes your strength.
Because before His name was Jesus, His name was the Word of God. John 1:14 says:
John 1:14 – And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The Word can become anything that you need. The Word can become your healing. The Word can become your prosperity. The Word can become your deliverance. The Word can become your promotion. So you don’t have to wait to be joyful to see the manifestation of the blessing because you have found the answer to your prayer in the blessing. Amen. Jesus can become your everything. Everything. Be satisfied in Jesus. You know, not like that: “Yeah, I’m satisfied.” How are you? How are you doing? “I’m living by faith.” What they mean is, “I’m struggling.” But, you know, because I’m a Christian, I’ll say, “I’m just living by faith.” Brother, living by faith is not living in lack. Living by faith is living over the top. Amen. So be satisfied in Jesus. Find your satisfaction in Jesus.
That’s why when you pray, don’t pray to twist God’s arm. Pray so that your heart will be transformed because the blessing has an invisible supply. It keeps refilling you. Keeps refilling you. Keeps refilling you. See, Jesus said, “The Father in Me does the work.” You don’t do the work. The Father in you does the work. You know, when I’m praying for sick people, I’m just praying, but the Father in me is doing the work. And Jesus said, “You shall do greater works than Me.” That means the Father wants to do greater works through you. You are the sign and wonder of the Father. Undeniable signs and wonders will happen in your life because you are the sign and wonder.
You know, Jesus performed so many miracles. Not everything was recorded. John says, “If we were to write down everything Jesus did, the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” That’s how many miracles Jesus performed. Amen. You are called for a supernatural lifestyle. Draw from the invisible supply. The blessing can overflow into every area of your life. Amen.
But how do you stay in the blessing? Just by staying in Jesus. Just by staying in Jesus. How do you stay in Jesus? By believing in His love for you. “Abide in Me, as I abide in you, so that you shall bear much fruit.”. Stay in Jesus by believing His love for you.
That’s why anytime the devil wants to disconnect you from God, he tries to do it in your mind by telling you that you are not worthy enough, that you are condemned, that you should feel guilty, ashamed, or afraid. Those are the tactics of the enemy. But you are plugged into God. You’re plugged into God’s supply. Just like when you plug something into an electrical socket and it gets powered, just like that, you’ve been plugged into God. Whatever God has will flow into your life as well. The blessing of God will overflow from within you.
The Bible says in Deuteronomy 28:2 that the blessing of the Lord will overtake you. Meaning, these blessings will go before you. They will open the doors that need to be opened, close the doors that need to be shut, make every crooked path straight, and every mountain plain. The blessing of the Lord will overtake you. Amen.
That’s for staying in faith. Hear God’s word, stay in faith, and release God’s faith. Nothing in your life shall be lacking. You are experiencing a 10-times upgrade in your life. I’m telling you again, a 10-times upgrade in your life. Upgrade. What didn’t happen in the last 10 years will happen in the next two months. Before this year ends, you’ll be surprised at the favor of God. You’ll be surprised at the favor of God. Be ready. Be ready. Stay in joy. Stay in joy. Amen.
