Power of the Blessing

2 Peter 1:3 –  His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.

His divine power has granted to us all things—not some things, all things. Whatever you need for a life, for a good life, for a God-kind of life, for a life of godliness, you have already received.

Look at the tense of these words. It is not something that is going to happen; it is something that has already happened. Isn’t that amazing? You and I can only believe for what God has already done. We cannot believe for what God has not done. We can only believe for what God has done. Amen. And the good news is, in Christ Jesus, God has accomplished His work. His work is perfect; His work is finished.

Do you know, from God’s eyes, you are perfect—you are like the perfect masterpiece that He has created. In God’s perspective, He’s already finished the work. It is already done. Yes, for us, we are still on that journey. But for God, when He sees us, He sees the finished product. You know, when you look at yourself in the mirror, you see so many flaws. You look at yourself in the mirror of the soul, you see so many flaws. But for God the Father, when He looks at you through Jesus, He only sees the finished product.

Ephesians 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

See, God has already prepared you beforehand. You are God’s workmanship, or you are God’s masterpiece. And He doesn’t do incomplete jobs; He completes them. So, when God sees you, He sees His complete, finished product. When did He do it? Before the foundation of the world. And the Bible says He has created you for good works. So He’s the one who has created you. You know, He’s working—He has worked in you. You are the perfect piece. He has prepared you.

Now, we are just walking in what God has already done. You don’t work for your salvation. God has already worked your salvation inside of you. You only work out what God has worked in. Like, I don’t have to strive for a life of holiness. I don’t have to strive to become a better person because God has already made me like Jesus. You and I are already created in the image of Jesus.

Romans 8:29 – For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

That means God has already created you—has conformed you to the image of Jesus. It is not something that is going to happen; it has already happened. God has already done His work. So when we believe, we are believing in what God has done. We’re not believing for what God is going to do; we are believing for what God has already done.

That’s why, even right now, if I am still struggling with some issues in my character, some issues with my emotions, I need to believe that God has already perfected everything in me. See, I might be on the earth struggling with anger, jealousy, but when God sees me, He sees me as righteous. So when you see yourself, you have to see yourself through the eyes of God.

When your mind aligns with the image that God has, you begin to operate in the image that God has already deposited within you. Because God has already worked in perfection. He’s not surprised by our weaknesses. He’s not surprised by our intricate failures in life. Your weakness doesn’t surprise God. It surprises you, but it doesn’t surprise Him. But for Him, when He sees you, He sees you as the righteousness of God because that is what He has given to you.

1 Peter 1:23 – Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.

You are born of God’s Word. You are born of God’s Word.

John 1:1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

This Word became flesh. His name is Jesus. Before Jesus became Jesus, before Jesus was known as Jesus, His name was the Word of God. And you are born of this Word. That means you have the same DNA that Jesus has. That’s why you are righteous. That’s why you’ve been made holy. That’s why you’ve been set apart. Regardless of what you feel today about yourself, the truth is, when God sees you, He sees you as the righteousness of God.

When you take a seed, it looks so insignificant because it’s so small. Inside the seed is a complete tree. The tree with its branches, deep roots, and strong branches is already inside the seed. When God sees you, He doesn’t see the seed; He sees the tree. But all we often see is the seed.

Isaiah 61:3 – we are trees of righteousness.

God sees beyond the seed. He sees the potential, the fullness of what’s already inside. Are you with me? When God speaks, He’s not lying. He’s seeing a greater reality than we currently see.

When Eve sinned, God asked her, “Who told you that you are naked?”

Because this information came from a lower realm. There’s a higher reality—a superior realm of heaven. But the devil keeps us trapped in the lower realm, feeding us limited, deceiving information.

For example, the medical report may say you’re sick, but God says you are healed. You were created in the image of God. Can God be poor? Sick? Depressed? No. When Adam lost the image of God, Christ restored it through redemption. When you received Jesus, you received His imperishable seed within you . This seed has divine power,

2 Peter 1:3 – His divine power has granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

Our problem is we often rely on feelings instead of faith. God’s work in you has gone beyond your soul and into your spirit. The Bible says,

2 Corinthians 5:7 – “We walk by faith, not by sight”.

Faith isn’t based on what you feel but on what God says.

God sees you as the complete, finished product—exactly like Jesus. The enemy, however, tries to distract us by focusing our attention on a lower reality. When God says you are righteous, the enemy tells you otherwise.

To recognize the voice of the enemy, consider this: The enemy speaks in “I” statements. Isaiah 14:13-14 records Lucifer’s fall, where he repeatedly says, “I will ascend…I will make myself like the Most High.” Self-centered thoughts are a hallmark of the enemy’s deception.

The enemy mimics self-talk to make you believe these are your own thoughts. For example, he might start with a minor issue like back pain and amplify it into fear, despair, or hopelessness. But here’s the truth: Jesus has stripped the enemy of all power.

Unlike the enemy, the Holy Spirit convicts you of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

John 16:8-11 – And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:  concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;  concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

Listen to me carefully. This is very applicable to your life because I’m teaching you how to recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit. How do you recognize the voice of the devil? Find the number of “I”s in the thought. Now, how you recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit is you need to know that the Holy Spirit came to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment—three things. Sin, righteousness, and judgment. Now, it doesn’t say “sins.” It says “sin,” singular. So the Holy Spirit only convicts you of one sin.

The root of all sins is the sin—one sin. What is that sin? “Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me” (John 16:9). The sin of unbelief is the root of all sins. So when the Holy Spirit comes, He does not convict you of sins. He convicts you of the sin of unbelief. So when you are struggling with sickness and you’re not able to believe in Jesus, He will convict you of the sin of unbelief so that you will look to Jesus. See, the work of the Holy Spirit is to point you to the finished work of Jesus.

So He’ll point you, when you are struggling with unbelief, He’ll give you faith by pointing you towards Jesus. ‘Cause faith comes by hearing. Hearing what? Not a sermon, hearing the voice of God. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. So when the Holy Spirit points you to Jesus, you are being stirred up in faith, and faith is rising up.

Next, “concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer”. Now, because Jesus is not here physically, the Holy Spirit keeps convicting us that we are the righteousness of God. He’s convicting you of your new identity—that you are the righteousness of God.

See, your new identity is more than the identity that we have in this world. You’re an Indian citizen, good. But your new identity is that you are the righteousness of God.

Meaning what you see in Jesus is how God sees you. Oh, either you are going deeper, or it’s too overwhelming. So He convicts you of your righteousness because Jesus is not here, and He tells you, “You are the righteousness of God because of what Jesus has done.” Got it? So in the first one, where He’s convicting you of sin, He’s still pointing you to Jesus. In the second one, He’s convicting of righteousness, He’s still pointing you to Jesus.

Now, “concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged”. The Holy Spirit never speaks words of judgment for you. He speaks words of judgment for the devil. He’s telling the devil, “Hey, your time is coming because of what Jesus has done, you are going to be judged.”

The Holy Spirit, in all the three cases, only points you towards Jesus. So how do you recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit? Very simple. If the voice points you towards Jesus, it’s the Holy Spirit. If the voice is pointing you towards yourself, it’s the devil. Ignore the devil. Receive the voice of the Spirit. Amen.

I’m telling you, each one of you can hear God’s voice. It’s not rocket science. Humans are created with the capacity to hear God’s voice. But the problem is, we don’t know how to discern between the devil’s voice and God’s voice because we have not been trained in it, and I’m training you for it.

From today onwards, no lie of the enemy will prevail in your life. The next time the devil speaks to you something that is “I, I, I,” tell him, “Get behind me, Satan.”

What do you do when the devil tells you, “You are depressed”? What do you say? “Get behind me, Satan.” What do you do when the devil mimics you and says, “I am sick”? What do you say? “Get behind me.” What do you do when the devil says, “I am such a sinner”? What do you say? “You are no longer a sinner saved by grace. You were a sinner. Today, you are the righteousness of God.”

You have been saved from hell, saved into heaven; from sin, saved into righteousness.

Here’s the thing. When we started learning how to walk, we started with crawling. We all learned walking by first crawling, but I don’t remember crawling anymore. You don’t see me crawling on my knees. Because I know how to walk. A person who is walking need not crawl. When you are the righteousness of God, don’t talk about what Jesus has already finished and perfected on the cross. Permission has been sealed. You’ve already been delivered from sin. You are no longer a sinner; you are the righteousness of God. Amen. Believe what God says about you more than what people say. Believe what God says about you more than what the devil says. But this one is hard: believe what God says more than what you say about yourself. God says, you are righteous, you are blessed, you are chosen, you are conformed to the image of Jesus.

When God sees you, He sees a finished, perfect product—His masterpiece created for good works. God has already done it. He has already worked it. You need to walk in it. That seed is within you. Within that seed is the tree, the leaf, the fruit, and the branches. Let the divine power of God that is in the seed unlock everything that is within you. You are exactly like Jesus.

The devil is so scared of you because when you don’t see what God sees, he sees what God sees. And he’s terrified of you, but he’s taking advantage of your ignorance.

Romans 8:19 – “For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.”

Creation is not waiting for the Son of God—it’s waiting for the sons of God, my friends. When are the sons of God being revealed? When you are already conformed to the image of Jesus. Start believing it. You better believe it because this is something that God has already done.

Everything that contradicts God is a lie. Your poverty is a lie. Your sickness is a lie. Your depression is a lie. Your separation is a lie. You have been made one with God.

2 Peter 1:3 – “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence”

You have received His power for the calling. It’s not just enough to be pushed; it’s important that you’re pushed in the right direction. His divine power is moving you, pushing you in the direction of His calling. My friend, God has a calling for you. I’m telling you, you don’t have to go to another prophetic conference to understand your calling. God has a calling for you. It’s right there in the Word and it’s very clear: God has a calling for you. He has called us into His own glory and excellence, meaning He’s calling you to the standard of His life.

If your life and my life do not resemble the standard of His life, it means we haven’t used much of His divine power. The Wright brothers made the first airplane, right? But they did not invent flying; they discovered it. Flying was always there. There are a lot of things waiting to be discovered within you—things God has already given to you.

Look at yourself and see: if my life does not resemble the life of God, it means His divine power can push me toward that life. Yes. “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness”. Because you’ve been called into His excellence and glory.

But how do you unlock His divine power? How do you unlock such power that will push you forward—power that will give you such a thrust, like a rocket escaping the atmosphere and going into space?

A prophetic word: No longer will you stay in the atmosphere. There’s a pushing of God that is going to take you out from this environment that has been limiting you. God is going to push you. His power is going to push you to break through that environment.

So how do you unlock so much power that will push you toward your destiny? “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him”. The technology that switches on the power of God is God’s knowledge.

When I talk about the knowledge of God, it’s not just having a mental or intellectual knowledge. It’s talking about intimate knowledge. The same word “knowledge” here is the same word used when it says, “Adam knew Eve”, and Adam and Eve had a child.

You know what kind of knowledge that is? It’s not just outward knowledge. It is an intimate knowledge—where you become one with the other person. In Jesus, you have become one with God. And when you become one with God, in that oneness, when you get to know God, His power is unlocked within you. You and I don’t become one with God by our strength.

Jesus did that for us, and because Jesus did that, we cannot separate ourselves from God. If you received Jesus and you want to separate yourself from God, I’m telling you, it’s impossible. It can’t happen. You are one with God now because it is something that God has worked in you. What God has done, no man can undo. What God has done, no Satan can undo. Even you cannot undo it. Amen.

So you are one with God. You are like plugged into God, but the technology through which that switch opens so that His power will flow through you—that technology is the knowledge of God, technology through intimacy.

2 Peter 1:2 – “May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

When you and I received Jesus, we received a measure of grace in our lives. We received a measure of peace. But do you know something? It can multiply. Grace and peace can be multiplied.

Grace is favor. Favor can be multiplied in your life. “May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God.” So, the more intimately you know God, favor multiplies, peace multiplies, and His divine power is unlocked. So, how do you have an intimate knowledge of God? How do you know Him?

Through His Word. You cannot have an intimate relationship with God without having an intimate relationship with His Word because God is the Word, and the Word is God.

When you have an intimate relationship with the Word, when you’re reading it, you’re not just reading to fill your mind, but you’re reading to know God and to have an encounter with Jesus. You’ll grow more in knowledge. Amen.

I’m saying this: while you’re reading, you don’t have to wait for goosebumps. Probably nothing happens in the physical, but spiritually, everything changes. You’re getting upgraded. That seed is unlocking itself. Slowly, roots are coming up. Eventually, it becomes a plant, and the plant becomes a tree, and the tree bears fruit.

Most of us lack spiritual discipline because we don’t see the result. But “A tree shall be known by its fruit” .

Matthew 12:33 – “A tree shall be known by its fruit”

So don’t wait for the feeling—look at the fruit.

Yeah, you read the Bible, and you didn’t feel anything. So what? So what? I’m convinced: I have faith in me now. It’s spiritual. Don’t let feelings deprive you of the faith that God is working in you.

Fall in love with His Word. Feed on His Word. Feed yourself with His Word. The Bible says,

Psalm 81:10 – “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it” .

He satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

As you read the Bible, it’s so powerful. You are encountering God’s thoughts, His feelings about you, and His reality for you.

John 17:17 – “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth” .

The meaning of sanctify is to be set apart, class apart. God wants to set you apart, class apart. But how does He set you apart? In His truth.

Do you see this? You can only be set apart in His truth. The meaning of truth is reality. It comes from the Greek word meaning reality. God wants to set you apart in His reality. And where is His reality? “Your word is truth.”

When you read the Bible, it unlocks the reality of God that sets you apart. The reality of healing is here. The reality of deliverance is here. The reality of heaven is here. That’s why I keep telling you prayer and the Word need to be combined. You cannot isolate them. When you say you are praying, it means there is Word involved. You cannot separate the two because, in prayer, you speak to God, and by His Word, you receive what He has to say.

When I go out to dinner with you, I don’t keep speaking and then walk off after I’m done. How many of you like friends who keep talking and won’t let you speak? No! When communication happens, you communicate and wait for the other person to respond. Why aren’t our prayers changing us? Because we are communicating but not letting Him communicate to us. That’s what can transform us.

Prayer is how you communicate. Petition is how you communicate. But His Word is how He communicates.

Jesus said, “Give us this day our daily bread”. You’re thinking of bread, but that’s not what Jesus was talking about. He’s saying He will give you His fresh rhema word every day because,

Matthew 4:4 – “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” .

My friends, I’m telling you, this is serious. You can live without eating, but you cannot live without the Word of God.

The Word. Live and build your life on the Word. Even when it seems benign, when you build your life on the Word daily, consistently, you catch speed. You catch speed. When you’re speeding, yes, you can fall, but you don’t fall backward; you fall forward.

Listen to me very carefully: by the grace of God, the speed that is upon our lives right now, the Devil cannot make us do a U-turn. Why? Because to take a U-turn, you need to slow down. The maximum he can do is push us so that we will fall forward. Fall forward. Even when you fall in grace, fall in grace. But lift yourself up and keep moving. For the righteous shall fall seven times, but still, he will get up and walk.

For a person to take a complete U-turn in his faith, it means he has not been walking with the Lord for a very long time.

Have you seen an aircraft taking off? It doesn’t build momentum, pause, and then build momentum again. No, it starts slow, but it keeps building momentum. Finally, at the end of the runway, it takes off. Amen.

Though your beginning is small, I’m telling you: though your beginning looks small right now, you’ll be so surprised at what God will accomplish through you. I’m challenging you today—if you stay with the Word, in six months’ time, when you look back, your life would have changed.

But if you keep doing it, you can catch a speed with the Lord that the Devil will be so scared of pulling you back. Why? Because he knows that if he tries, he’ll get dragged along. So do it consistently.

Honestly, every day—Word, prayer. Word, prayer. Word, prayer. And what the Lord gives you as a word, declare it. Declare it over your life. Declare it over your life. I want our church to be a church of declarations. Church of declarations. You cannot declare God’s Word and say that you are people of faith. People of faith speak.

Speak God’s Word. Speak God’s Word—not just in the morning hours. As you speak in the morning, let that become a lifestyle for you—to keep speaking over your life again and again.

Psalm 119:11 – “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

A lot of times, we’re trying to get the sin out of us. We’re so worried about what’s inside. But I’m saying: focus on taking the Word in. Don’t worry about the struggles. Because when you focus on taking in the Word, what’s inside you will be flushed out.

So be focused on the intake of the Word. Build an intimacy with God’s Word. God’s Word has to be natural for you. When someone says someone is sick, immediately, “By His stripes, we are healed”. Someone says you’re getting older? Immediately, you should respond, “I will grow from strength to strength, from glory to glory, from faith to faith”.

The Bible is not just a book of stories. These are real events and incidents that happened. If Caleb, at the age of 80, could conquer a mountain and drive out giants, then I think you can do much more in Christ.

Stop speaking like the Devil. Stop saying you’re weak. Stop saying you’re poor. Stop saying you can’t do it. Let the weak say, “I am strong” . Let the poor say, “I am rich” . And we say,

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Speak God’s Word. And you’ll see His divine power pushing you. Pushing you. Next year is going to be more amazing than what God has done this year. How many of you can testify to God’s faithfulness this year? Next year is going to be 10x. 10x. Yeah, try imagining it, because you can’t—but try. It’ll be 10x in every dimension of your life. Every dimension of your life. You are stepping into a lifestyle of joy, a lifestyle of joy.

So, learn how to smile! Because some of you don’t know how to smile. Learn. You can practice smiling. Practice smiling. Moving into a season of joy!

Nothing is impossible for those with faith. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible. When you step into an atmosphere and feel limited, when you feel choked, don’t let the feeling dictate your limitations. You are an overcomer.

When you wake up in the morning feeling discouraged, feeling low, maybe even feeling physically low (like from low blood sugar), don’t let the atmosphere limit you. Take authority. Speak God’s Word.

You are blessed. God told Abraham, “I will make your name great”. That same promise is applicable to you today. God wants to elevate you and make your name great— For His glory.

The seed of greatness is within you. The seed of greatness is within you. So don’t look at that seed and think it’s insignificant. There’s so much power, so much power. See what God sees. See what God sees.

Your life is not going to be the same.A person who builds his life on God’s Word does not move at the pace of the world. He moves at the pace of His Word. Supernatural increase will be your portion. Supernatural increase will be your portion.

Build your life on His Word. No matter what happens, build your life on His Word. If you’re coming to church, your primary intention should be to build your life on God’s Word.

Offenses will come, distractions will come. Anytime a believer is upset, I just ask them, “Why are you here in the church?” If they remember they are here for the Word, all these things can be worked out. We are imperfect people, but we should never lose sight of the fact that our primary reason is to build a life on His Word. So what if one day nobody played drums? So what? The Word was given. So what if one day the church decided not to give lunch? So what? You still got the Word. Come excited for His Word. Your expectation for His Word—there’s something about preparing your heart.

“The Bible talks about a man named Rehoboam, who did not prepare his heart, and that’s why he did evil acts”. He started good, but he could not sustain it because he did not prepare his heart. Don’t let familiarity stop you from receiving His Word. The first time you received God’s Word and it gave you so much strength, that same power, more than that power, is available for you if you posture yourself right.

When you come to hear God’s Word, come prepared. Come prepared. Don’t just wake up and come. Don’t just wash your face and come. Come prepared. We are people of God’s Word. Come prepared because the King of Kings is going to release a Word for your life. Get your posture right. Don’t just lie on the bed and pray. Yes, you can sleep and pray, but that should not always be the posture. Check your posture. Your posture shows what’s in your heart. When you’re worshiping, worship with your posture. Have you seen the meme of a guy at a stadium, a bald guy, doing that? Don’t be that person! Get your posture right when the worship is going on. Get involved in worship. Partake from the Word. Engage with the Word. Because there’s nothing stopping you from receiving a breakthrough other than you. Be hungry for His Word. Be hungry for His Word.
