Never Loose Your Blessing

Psalms 23:5 – “He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies.”

You know, during worship, I heard very clearly from the Lord. The Lord said, “There is more than enough for everyone at the table. There is more than enough at the table of Jesus.” You know, when enemies come against you, God prepares a table for you because He does not want you to focus on the enemy. He wants you to focus on the food that He has prepared for you.

On the table, there is a six-course meal that God has prepared for you. See, when the food is in front of me, I forget everything. You know, I even forget why I am angry. So you are supposed to eat from the table, not get distracted by an enemy. Focus on the food that God has put. There is an abundance of food. Even if everybody partakes from the table, there will still be enough for you. There are all kinds of meals at the table of Jesus. God does not determine how much you eat; you determine how much you want to eat. SGod does not determine how much you should be blessed, how much you should be fed, or how much favor you should have. It is you who decides that. The blessings are for everybody. God is not a respecter of persons.

Acts 10:34-35 – “So Peter opened his mouth and said, ‘Truly, I understand that God shows no partiality. But in every nation, anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.’”

God’s blessing is for anyone. He is not just the God of Americans. Amen. If there’s a blessing you see in America, it can happen in your life as well. God shows no partiality.

See Genesis 13:2 for the blessing of Abraham:

Genesis 13:2  – “Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.”

Why? Because in Genesis 12, God blessed Abraham. Within a span of one chapter, Abraham was so blessed.

The blessing of Abraham is for everybody. But it’s for those who can withdraw it by faith. Each one of you has an account, and in that account, there is unlimited supply—so much that no matter how much you take, it feels like it’s not going down. Because of Jesus, we are all connected to that blessing. The name of the blessing is Jesus. Blessing is not a what; blessing is a who, and His name is Jesus. When we have the blessing, who is Jesus, we have all the blessings: blessings for your emotions, health, finances, relationships.

Proverbs 10:22 – “The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.”

It’s not the devil who makes anyone rich because he is not rich. The devil may offer money, but it comes with terms and conditions—painful family situations or broken relationships. But the blessing of the Lord adds no sorrow.

Job was rich. See Job 1:3:

Job 1:3 – “He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east.”

Job 3:25 – “For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.”

Within a span of moments, Job lost everything. Read Job 1—it talks about how he lost his children, cattle, and businesses.

Even though the devil cannot take your salvation, he can steal the joy of your salvation if you allow it. That’s why Psalms 51:12 says,

Psalms 51:12 – “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.”

So, even though the devil cannot steal your blessing, he can stop the flow of blessing into your life. This is what happened with Job. Now, what robbed Job of all his blessings? Job 3:25 says, “For the thing that I feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.”

See, the devil is looking for a loophole in your life so he can enter your house and steal. Jesus said,

John 10:10 – “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy”

The devil is looking for opportunities to come and steal the flow of blessings, the joy of your salvation, so you are stopped from walking in the blessings of God.

For Job, the loophole was fear. He feared, and anything that happened to Job happened because of his fear. Whatever he feared came upon him. Are you with me? Whatever he feared came upon him.

Now here’s the thing: the devil does not know what you fear unless you speak it out. He doesn’t know your fear. But if you talk about it, now he knows your weakness. And now he will challenge you.

Look at Job and how he confesses his fear. Come with me to.

Job 1:5 – “When the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them. He would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, ‘It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.’ Thus Job did continually.”

Job had many children, and these children would party every night. In the morning, Job would be so scared for them. That’s why Job would offer sacrifices, saying, “What if they have sinned? What if they have cursed God? Let me offer a sacrifice so that they will not die.” He wasn’t worshiping God out of reverence; he was worshiping out of fear that God would kill his children.

See, you can worship God out of fear, and the devil sees that and can attack you based on that fear. That’s why, for some of us, everything seems fine until we start praying. The moment we start praying, everything seems to go wrong. Why? Because we are praying out of fear and unbelief, creating a loophole that the devil sees and uses to steal our joy. The devil is watching what you speak because he does not know your vulnerabilities. When you speak something foolish, he uses that and brings it against you to attack you.

The problem is that we think words are for communication. But if you read Genesis 1, God didn’t use words for communication; He used words to create things.

Before words were used for communication, they were used for creating realities.

The devil has no power. In fact, after Jesus, the devil was completely disarmed.

Colossians 2:15 – “He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him.”

And

Hebrews 2:14 – “Through death He destroyed the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”

So the devil has no power, but the only power he has is the power you give him.

Where is your spiritual power? Your spiritual power is in the words that you release. When you release words out of frustration or venting, the devil uses those words against you. He gets judicial authority to act on those words and can come into your life to destroy you. Don’t give your authority to the devil. In the garden, Adam had authority over all the earth. But when the devil tempted Jesus, he said in,

Luke 4:6 – “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.”

How did this transfer of authority happen? In Genesis 3, when Adam sinned, the authority wasn’t lost immediately. Adam still had it, but he gave it away by blaming others instead of taking responsibility.

When God confronted Adam in Genesis 3:12, Adam said,

Genesis 3:12 – “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit of the tree, and I ate.”

And when God asked Eve, she said in Genesis 3:13,

Genesis 3:13 – “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

By blaming others, Adam and Eve lost their authority.

If either of them had taken ownership and said, “I’m sorry, this happened. It’s my fault,” they would have still retained authority over the earth.

Now because Eve blamed the serpent, the authority came to the serpent. And what does the serpent do? He keeps quiet. That’s how authority was transferred from Adam to the serpent—because Adam and Eve unnecessarily used their words.

You don’t realize how much authority you have, and every spiritual authority is released through your words. Think about this: Adam was in the garden, and all the animals came to him.

Genesis 2:19 – “Whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name”

Just by his words, Adam named the animals. That’s the kind of authority he had! But when Adam sinned, he forgot his position as a man of authority.

What happens when people lose sight of their authority? They start blaming others. Like slaves, they point fingers instead of taking responsibility. That’s why I always say, don’t blame anyone—take ownership. When you take ownership, the authority remains with you. The devil has no authority over your life, but he can use the power you release through your words against you. If you keep saying, “By the end of the month, I’ll have no money left,” guess what? That will become your reality. You are shaping your future with your words.

Instead, say, “Every day is blessed for me,” and believe it. Don’t use your words unnecessarily.

When God confronted Eve, she said,

Genesis 3:13 – “The serpent deceived me”

Here’s the key: the devil tries to put his words in your mind so that you speak them out. If you do, you give him authority over your life. Just as God wants you to speak like Him, the devil wants you to speak like him.

Let me show you an example: In Job 1:11, the devil tells God,

Job 1:11 – “Stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.”

That was the devil’s agenda.

Now, after Job lost everything, listen to his wife ,

Job 2:9 – “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die.”

Whose motive was it for Job to curse God and die? It was the devil’s. But notice how the devil put those same words into Job’s wife’s mouth.

Ask yourself: Who is putting words in your mouth?

The devil’s deception is subtle. Anything contrary to God’s Word must be rejected. Don’t receive it. If someone handed you a beautiful gift box filled with snakes, would you keep it? No, you’d throw it out! In the same way, reject anything that contradicts God’s Word. Cancel it. Amen.

The devil has no power in your life. The only power he has is the power you give him. Sadly, many give him power during their prayers—prayers filled with unbelief, doubt, and fear. These prayers grant him access. Then, we wonder why things get worse.

Your life is the fruit of what you speak.

Proverbs 18:20 – “From the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips”

Your increase doesn’t come from a bigger salary but from the increase of the words you speak. What you speak is what you’ll eat.

If you don’t like your current reality, change your words. Your words are the steering wheel of your life, as James says:

James 3:5 – “The tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things”

Imagine you’re driving a car. If you want to go left, you turn the wheel left. You cannot steer right and expect to go left. If you’re heading toward poverty but keep speaking about poverty, you’ll keep heading in that direction.

The same applies to sickness, hopelessness, or any other negative situation. What will make the change is when you change your words. When you start speaking prosperity, you’ll move toward prosperity. When you start speaking hope, you’ll see hope arise. So speak what you want to see, not what you currently see.

Speak what you want to see. Let’s read Matthew 15:13:

Matthew 15:13 – “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up.”

Jesus is not talking about physical plants here but the “plants” in your heart—your belief systems, mindsets, and what you hold true about life. These “trees” represent what you believe about your finances, family, career, future, and every area of your life.

Out of these belief systems, you speak. If there’s a “tree” of hopelessness in your heart, you will speak hopelessness. If negativity is planted in your heart, you will speak negatively.

The good news is this: any tree that the Father has not planted will be uprooted.

Look at the example of Jesus in the story of the fig tree (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21). He cursed the tree that bore no fruit, and within 24 hours, it withered.

Here’s the key: if there is a “tree” in your heart that is not bearing fruit, what should you do? Do as Jesus did—curse it in faith. What you couldn’t overcome in years, God can uproot in 24 hours. Amen!

Now, let’s look at Luke 17:5-6:

Luke 17:5-6 – “The apostles said to the Lord, ‘Increase our faith!’ And the Lord said, ‘If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, “Be uprooted and planted in the sea,” and it would obey you.’”

This teaching was in the context of forgiveness. Jesus explained the importance of forgiving, even when the offense happens repeatedly. Why? Unforgiveness chokes faith.

As Galatians 5:6 says,

Galatians 5:6  – “Faith works through love.”

You cannot claim to have faith while harboring offense in your heart. I’ve searched the Bible, and there isn’t a single verse that legitimizes holding onto offense—not one!

Even if the offense is valid, forgiveness is for your sake, not theirs. If someone has wronged you, release it to God. If they owe you something, as Jesus taught me, “Put it on My tab.”

Let go of unforgiveness, bitterness, and offense. These are “trees” in your heart bearing bad fruit. You can’t believe for promotion while harboring resentment toward a colleague. You can’t believe for breakthrough while holding unforgiveness.

Speak to the tree!

Look at Job 22:28 (KJV):

Job 22:28 – “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

What you decree will be established. When you speak God’s Word, it’s like sowing seeds.

Jesus explained in Mark 4:26-27:

You don’t need to understand how the process works. Your job is to sow the seed of God’s Word. The seed will grow and bear fruit in due time.

Speak what you want to see.

Every bad tree will be uprooted, and every good seed will bear fruit in Jesus’ name! You don’t need to understand the inner workings of how a seed will sprout and bear fruit. Once you receive the word like a seed, it will bear fruit. You don’t need to understand how it works. Just imagine I took an apple seed, put it in my garden in the morning. The next day I come, I dig it up to see how much it has grown. Nothing happened. I put it back again. Pick it up again. Do you think anything will sprout? Once you plant it, you let it be, and the soil will take care of it. The fruit will come.

So, the problem is, when we start declaring, we look at our natural circumstances—like a mountain gone, a bank balance—asking, “Is it increasing?” I’m saying it, the fruit will come automatically. Be patient. A lot of people miss out on the fruit because before the fruit has matured, they see it and get disappointed. Even though the seed is small, the seed is not insignificant. The seed has a lot of power to bear many, many, many fruits. It does not bear one fruit at one time. It bears many fruits at many times, again and again. So when you receive God’s word as a seed, trust that the seed will do its work. Now, what should you do after you’ve received the word as a seed? You water it daily. Just like the word is a seed, the word also has a dimension of water to nourish the seed you’ve received. Once you’ve received the seed, keep watering it, keep watering it, keep watering it until you see the fruit. That’s what Jesus said in,

Mark 11:24 –  “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

So when you speak, every unwanted belief system within you will be uprooted. You know, last week I was talking about how the blessing has an invisible supply. Like every seed, the root is in the invisible. The fruit is visible, but without the root, you cannot have the fruit. Without the invisible, you can’t have the visible. That’s why don’t give up on declaring. Don’t give up on confessing the word. Don’t give up on feeding yourself with the word just because you don’t see things moving in the visible. Because when you are feeding yourself with the word, the invisible is working.

Now, I want to give you something very practical. When you receive the word, you need to receive it with joy. How should you receive it? If you don’t have joy, you will not immediately receive it. In Luke 8:13, when Jesus was talking about the rocky soil, it says the rocky soil immediately receives the seed with joy, but it has no root. This joy is not a joy that comes from emotion; it’s a joy that is a state of being. Joy is a choice. Joy is a choice. So when you come to receive the word, be joyful. Make a willful choice: “I’m going to receive this word, and this word is going to change my life, and everything in my life is going to change.”

Receive it with joy. It’s like a seed coming into your heart. Receive it with joy. Otherwise, it’ll be like a seed that falls on the wayside. Amen. So, with preparation, make a joyful choice to receive the word. Don’t be a Christian who is just wasting another seat in the church.

See, that’s why we do praise and worship—not as a filler for those who come late—but to prepare your heart so that when the word comes, you can receive it with joy. That’s why people who come late often take 15 minutes into the word to start receiving. Why? Because the ground has not been prepared. What time does the church start next week? I want to see you at 10 so that your heart will be worked on, and the ground will be prepared so that when the word comes, you’ll receive it with joy.

Worship is not a filler, but there’s another extreme. Some people will only be there for praise and worship. When the word comes, they walk off. As soon as the word starts, they walk off. That’s a very dangerous place to be. Because when you’re in praise and worship, the ground of your heart is being softened. It’s becoming sensitive. Now, when it becomes sensitive and you don’t hear the word, you will receive something else. That’s why we have too many Christians who, if you touch them, they get offended. When you’re sensitive, you don’t hear the word, you hear something else, and you receive unnecessary words in your life that bear bad fruit.

So, when you worship, be prepared to receive God’s word with joy and preparation. So, when you receive the word, make a joyful choice. The next upgrade happens when everybody goes back home. You’re so excited on Monday: “Oh, man, I’m in the office, Monday blues!” You talk about all that, but what happened to your joy? You received joy, you received the word with joy, but because the joy was shallow, the seed could not take root. On Monday, you lost the word, you lost the joy. You lost the word.

So you need to stay in that joy. The joy that you made a willful decision to receive the word with now needs to become your strength.

Nehemiah 8:10 – “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”

The moment Monday comes, the devil is going to bring persecution because you received the word. Persecution will come because you received the word. On Monday, you will have tribulation. But why is he bringing tribulation? To steal the word.

Mark 4:17 – “And they have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.”

But before he steals the word, he tries to steal your joy. If he cannot steal your joy, he cannot steal your word. I’m teaching you something so you won’t be a Sunday joyful Christian. The same joy you have on Sunday, you can have Monday to Saturday, when nobody’s watching. Don’t lose your joy. When the persecution comes, go back to the word. When tribulation comes, go back to the same word that you received on Sunday. When you do that, when you keep going back to the word, the joy will become your strength.

What’s happening? The word you received is now showing roots—strength.

Psalm 1:3 – “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Okay, the next upgrade happens when joy moves from being your strength and becomes your inheritance. It becomes your lifestyle.

It’s not something that happens on Sunday. It’s not something that happens when you have a good day. It becomes your lifestyle. People ask you, “Brother, the census is dropping. Why are you so happy?” It’s because of the joy of the Lord. It has become your lifestyle. When joy becomes your lifestyle, that is an indication that you are no longer living in the reality of the world. You are living in the reality of His word. The deeper joy that you want to walk in will be determined by the deeper revelation of His word.

See, I’m telling you, the meaning of joy comes from the Greek word “chara”, which means a state of mind. When you recognize God loves you, joy is a state of mind. When you recognize the favor, the grace, the blessing, everything that God has for you, when you recognize that, that’s the state of mind that will produce joy. If I ask you, “How many of you know that God loves you?” but your joy determines whether you know that God loves you right now. It is no longer a concept; it has become your reality.

See, I have confessed that God loves me so much that this is one area the devil will never come to steal the word because he has tried and failed many times. When I’m sick, I know that God loves me. I know that God loves me. Don’t call me and appreciate me. I still know that God loves me. It’s the word that is no longer a seed—it has become a tree with many roots, and now it is bearing fruit. Amen.

Joy is the secret that will upgrade the quality of the word in your life. You need joy to receive the word. You need joy to be rooted. You need joy for the word to become a reality. Or if you’re getting offended, just don’t hear me. In that movie, they play a video game. The kids play a video game and they get into the reality of the game. They become the characters of the game. Now, they’re not living in the reality that they came from. They’re living in the reality of where they were playing. I’m telling you, there is a gateway to this reality.

You can live on the earth but not have the reality of the earth you are living in. There’s a reality in God’s word.

1 Kings 18:41 – “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.”

God told Elijah that He would bring rain after three years of famine. But when Elijah met the king, he said, “I hear the sound of rain.” There was no rain happening yet, but how did Elijah hear the sound of rain when there was no rain? Because in the reality of God’s word, it’s a completely different reality. In that reality, you can hear, you can see, you can smell, and you can touch. It is exactly like this reality. Amen. When that reality captures you completely in your heart, it becomes your natural reality.

You know, when teenagers fall in love, they don’t see anything else. Suddenly, roses are red, the sky is blue. Why? Because their reality has changed within them. When your inner reality changes, your outer reality will change to match your inner reality. You can change your reality by God’s word. You don’t like your reality, you don’t like your life? Come on, here’s the good news. Take the good news of Jesus, speak the gospel into your life, and you can change your reality.

Luke 4:18 – “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.”

The gospel is not for you to memorize or to “rectify” by heart. You can’t do that. The gospel is not for you to memorize. The gospel is for you to proclaim. If you are poor, let the poor say, “I am rich.” Let the weak say, “I am strong.” Declare the word of God. Each one of you is an evangelist.

The first person you need to evangelize is yourself. Before you get to the world, you need to evangelize yourself. Every time I’m showering, that’s the first thing I do: “God loves you, Sam. God loves you.” Why? Because the word is meant to be proclaimed. Don’t just read, don’t just think—declare.

Romans 10:9 – “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Declare God’s word. Because when you declare the word, you’re releasing faith.

The best prayers that you can make are the prayers of declaring scriptures. Yeah. Don’t see, I’m saying a lot of our prayers don’t work because our prayers don’t align with the protocol. But the best way—if you don’t know how to pray—is to pray scriptures. Declare scriptures. Because these words are the words for blessing, the words for prosperity, the words for deliverance, the words for healing. Whatever you need for life, you can declare, and you can see it happen in your life.

The air quality (AQI) is really bad in Delhi, but none of you should be sick. Why? Because you are declaring the word of God. There’s healing in God’s word. There’s health in God’s word. Stay on joy.

Nehemiah 8:10 – “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
