Favor Magnet

Do you know that you are meant to receive God’s favor? Favor is always better than labor. Like what your years of labor can achieve? One moment of favor can outperform all of it. If you want the favor of God, say, I want the favor of God. Amen. Because God cannot give you something that you don’t want. Amen. So if you want the favor of God, desire for favor. Desire for favor. How many of you believe that when you found Jesus, your life was changed? When you found Jesus, your life changed. Do you know Jesus is the person of favor? The Bible says Jesus is the person of grace and truth. Grace also means favor. Jesus is the person of favor. That’s why when you found Jesus, you found favor. So grace can be found. Where is grace found? Grace is found in the presence of God, in the person of Jesus. That’s why Adam was in the garden. As long as he was in the garden, he didn’t have to worry about anything because he was in the presence and he found favor.

It was outside the garden when he had to strive. Remember, he was in the garden. He was given a responsibility to work. Work is not a curse. Work is a blessing, but there was no stress while he was working. See, when you are not in God’s favor, work and stress will come together. But when you are in God’s favor, work and rest will come together.

Work, and rest come together. When you are in the favor of God, that So when you are in favor of God, you’re not really planning for retirement. You know, Renard Bonnke said, I’m never going to retire, because when the plane is just about to take off, it takes the most amount of speed. That’s why if you have found God’s favor, work in rest will always work together. We make retirement plans. We think about, you know, resting. Why? Because we get stressed out from work. Amen. That ends today for you. Amen. Work and rest will go hand in hand. The more you work, the more you’ll be restful. As work will give you purpose, rest will give you pleasure. Amen. The work will give you purpose. Rest will give you pleasure. How many of you want pleasure and purpose in life? So when you stay in the favor of God, you don’t have stress, you have work and rest. So when you found Jesus, you found favor. But do you know you found Jesus? You are just realizing that Jesus has found you. See, to say that I found Jesus, it implies that Jesus was lost, but Jesus was never lost.

The shepherd went looking for the lost sheep. The lost sheep was not looking for the shepherd. You were saved when Jesus found you. But salvation came to your house when you found that Jesus found you. So when you find that Jesus has found you, is when you are saved? Isn’t that powerful? So there is an aspect of finding favor, but, when you find favor, you realize that you already had it with you. It was always there. That’s why favor grows in the knowledge of God. Do you know something? You cannot get closer to God.

We think that by praying, by reading the word, we are getting closer to God. You cannot get closer to Him.

Colossians 1:27 – “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

How much closer can God be to you than inside of you?

Ephesians 2:4-6 – “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

You are seated with Christ already. How much closer can He be?

Romans 8:31 – “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Oh, my friends, good news: God is for you. God is with you, and He is in you. Say with me, “God is with me. God is for me. God is in me.” So you cannot get any closer to Him than He already is, because He’s the closest to you right now in the person of Jesus.

What we are growing in is not being closer to God. We are growing in the knowledge of God, finding how close we already are to Him. We’re growing in the awareness of how close He already is. So prayer does not bring you closer to God. Prayer just increases your awareness of how close you already are to Him. It is in prayer that you realize He was always there. Amen. Amen. So the Word and prayer do not bring you closer to God. The Word and prayer just heighten your awareness of how close you already are to Him. Amen.

That’s why, understand this: growing in favor is not about doing something. Growing in favor is actually growing in the knowledge of what God has already done for you. You don’t receive a favor like a salary. You don’t receive favor by earning something. You receive favor by recognizing what He has already done. The issue is not that you don’t have favor. The issue is you don’t know how to take advantage of that favor.

Let me show you something:

Ephesians 2:4-6 – “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Where is Christ seated right now?

Ephesians 1:20 – “He is seated at the right hand of God in the heavenly places.”

Where are you seated?

Ephesians 2:6 – “You are seated with Christ in the heavenly places right now.”

When Christ was raised from the dead, He raised you with Him so that He can seat you with Him in the heavenly places.

We were dead. How were we dead? We were spiritually dead. So when Jesus died, He took upon Himself that spiritual death. He didn’t just die for you, He died as you. So when Jesus was dying on the cross, imagine yourself dying in Him on the cross. How did Adam’s sin make us all sinners? Do you know that you’re not a sinner because of your own sin? You are a sinner because of Adam’s sin.

Romans 5:12 – “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.”

Romans 5:17 -“For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.”

Again and again, it says that sin came into the world because of one man.

You’re not a sinner because of your sins; you’re a sinner because of Adam’s sin. How unfair is that? You know why you are a sinner? Because of Adam’s sin. When Adam was sinning, you were inside of Adam. We were all inside of Adam. We all came from Adam, right? Did anybody else come from somebody else? No. We all came from Adam. So, when Adam was sinning, we were sinning with him. That’s why when Christ was dying, we were dying with Him. See, Jesus came as the last Adam to finish the line of Adam once and for all. You are not born in the line of Adam. You are born in the line of Christ. So when Jesus died, He died as the last Adam, having all of you inside of Him. So when He died, you died with Him, and when He was raised up, you were also raised up with Him. Amen. You are already raised up.

Yes, we are waiting for the rapture and the resurrection for our bodies to be raised up again, but spiritually, you are already raised up in Jesus. Hallelujah. Now, we all want to get to heaven, but do you know something? You’re already seated in heaven right now.

Ephesians 2:6 – “and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

It doesn’t say that you will one day be seated with Christ; it says you are seated with Christ right now. How many of you believe that God saved you in Jesus, just like you became a sinner in Adam? Now, God has saved you in Jesus. Isn’t that powerful? So now you are seated with Christ.

Where is Christ seated?

Ephesians 1:20-21 – “He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.”

Christ is seated at the highest level of heaven. When Christ died, you and I died with Him, so that when He was raised, you and I were raised with Him. We didn’t just become alive. God didn’t just make us alive; He raised us up and seated us at the same level where Christ is seated.

Why is Christ seated? Why are you seated? Do you know why you’re seated?

1 Corinthians 15:25 – “For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.”

Let’s read

1 Corinthians 15:21-22 – “For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”

One man, Adam, brought death, and one man, Jesus, brought resurrection.

So Adam brought death through sin. Christ brought resurrection.

1 Corinthians 15:22 – “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”

All of us spiritually died in Adam. So also in Christ shall all be made alive. Hallelujah. Okay, now read

1 Corinthians 15:25 – “For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.”

Why is Christ seated on the throne? Why is Christ seated at the right hand of God? Joseph was seated at the right hand of Pharaoh. Why was Joseph seated at the right hand of Pharaoh? The right hand of power means authority. Pharaoh told Joseph, “You are meant to rule Egypt; only in the throne am I above you. In every other operation, you are the authority.”

Jesus is seated at the right hand of God because He is ruling and reigning. Now, if Jesus is seated because He’s ruling and reigning, why are you seated? You are called to rule and reign. Not to rule and reign when you get to heaven, but you’re called to rule and reign while you are on the earth. That’s why, as your spirit is at the right hand of God, your body is on the earth so that you can rule from your spirit through your body on the earth.

You are not just called to get to heaven. You are called to rule and reign. You are the king and priest of God.

Revelation 1:6 says He has made us a kingdom of priests. Jesus is called the King of Kings. Who are these kings He is the King of? If He is your King, then you need to become a king; only then can He be the King of Kings. So put “king” in front of your name! I’m Raja Samuel, for example. So you are seated with Christ to rule and reign. Why are you seated with Christ? Not to cry and beg.

Most prayers sound like crying and begging. You’re not called to cry and beg; you are called to rule and reign. Many prayers don’t even qualify as prayer; they are just complaints or weeping. But that’s not prayer. Babies cry because they think they can manipulate people by their tears. Baby Christians cry because they think they can manipulate God with tears. But prayer isn’t about manipulating God with tears.

If you’re standing in front of a locked door, what you need is a key. No matter how much you cry, the door will not open.

Matthew 16:19 -, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be lost in heaven.”

Jesus has already given you keys. So use the key and unlock the door. Tap your neighbor and tell them, “Stop crying.” Crying will not manipulate God. You need to get the key to unlock the door.

Luke 11:52 – “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

This key is the key to knowledge. You want to be people of favor? You need keys of knowledge. When you have the knowledge of God, you will not be begging. When you have the knowledge of God, you will not worry if your prayers will work. When you have the knowledge of God, your future will not look uncertain. I know exactly what my future holds because of the knowledge of God. Amen.

When you have the knowledge of God, your life is not a hit-and-miss. Most of our prayers are hit-and-miss because of a lack of knowledge. So when you have knowledge, you know for certain that it will work. How many of you drive a car? You don’t need prayer; you need knowledge to drive the car. You can sit and pray, but the car will not move until you have the knowledge to drive it.

Don’t be such foolish Christians who have lost their mind. Get knowledge. Get the knowledge of God, and no door will be shut for you. Amen. See, the powerful thing about keys is that they work for anybody. Gifts can vary from one person to another, but keys work for anyone, regardless of who you are. Keys don’t respect a person’s background—whether you are male or female, which race or country you are from, or your salary. It doesn’t matter. As long as you are using the key, the door will open. Amen.

Favor—you haven’t tapped into favor because you haven’t used the key for favor. You’re seated with Christ, which means you are in the seat of favor. So stop begging. You just need knowledge—just knowledge.

2 Peter 1:2 – “May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

2 Peter 3:18 – “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

So, favor will always move according to your knowledge. If you have more knowledge, more favors will work for you. If you lack knowledge, favor won’t work for you. Whatever degree of favor you are working in—and I believe you already have favor because you’ve found Jesus—there is more favor for you, and you tap into it by knowledge. Amen. Endless favor, unlimited favor for you. Don’t get satisfied with the favor you’ve experienced so far—there is more favor for you.

Never settle for what is fair. Fairness says, “This wasn’t fair.” But don’t settle for fair when you can have favor. Favor is not fair; it’s justice. Favor will set you apart. What will favor do in your life? Favor will uplift you and guarantee promotion. How many of you want promotion? Favor can do that. How many of you get satisfied after being promoted twice? There is always another promotion waiting for you. Amen.

Favor will uplift you and promote you. Favor will also bring you before great men—it will give you influence. And lastly, favor guarantees prosperity. You cannot have the favor of God and miss out on prosperity. Amen. Joseph became a prime minister from being a prisoner—that’s the favor of God. Esther, an ordinary orphan, became a queen—that’s the favor of God. David, a shepherd boy, became a king—that’s the favor of God. Nehemiah, who was sold as a slave, became a cupbearer and then a governor—that’s the favor of God.

So whatever your current position is does not determine your future. The favor of God will change your status and position. In fact, the favor of God has already changed your status because you are seated with Christ. Amen.

Romans 5:17 – “For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.”

Adam brought death through his sin, but Christ brought resurrection.

Romans 5:17 – “Much more will those who receive the abundance of grace…”

Abundance of grace—abundance of grace!

Adam’s trespass brought death and lowered your level, but what Christ did raise your level up. What Christ is doing is not just balancing what Adam did; He is doing much more. Christ didn’t reset mankind to the level where Adam was in the garden; He raised us much higher. You are not in Adam, you are in Christ. You are not born of Adam, you are born of Christ. Just as the one born of Adam is a sinner, the one born of Christ is righteous. Amen.

Just like you cannot change your gender, you cannot change that you are righteous in Christ. Amen.

Grace, abundance of grace—there’s an ocean of grace available for you!

Romans 5:17 tells us that those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness are called to reign in life, not just in heaven, but here on earth. You are called to rule over sickness, anxiety, and poverty, overcoming all things in this life. Jesus didn’t come simply to get you to heaven, but to bring heaven through you. You are called to reign in life!

It’s not God who decides how much grace you walk into—it’s you. Just like standing on the shore of a beach, you decide if you want to just get your feet wet or if you want to dive deeper into the ocean. The solution to your problem is already within you; it’s your choice how much of it you want to unlock. Grace and favor are both freely given—you don’t have to earn them. All you need to do is grow in knowledge to tap into it.

Now, let’s revisit

Ephesians 2:7 – “so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

God’s grace didn’t stop at the cross; He wants to display His immeasurable favor through your life. Favor that is unlimited, immeasurable—far more than what you’ve experienced so far. Even if you’ve missed opportunities, lost deals, or seen moments slip through your fingers, God’s favor can restore far beyond what was taken.

God’s favor is unlimited! If someone stole an opportunity from you, laugh and let them go. They only have that one opportunity, but God has countless opportunities lined up for you.

Proverbs 24:16  – “The righteous fall seven times, but they rise again.”

Get up! The favor of the Lord is coming to lift you higher.

Now, how do you grow in favor? By growing in the knowledge of God. The more you know Him, the more favor will flow in your life.

Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

When you pursue God’s kingdom, promotion will pursue you. Favor will chase after you when you prioritize His kingdom. Amen!

Your boss will come and ask you to stay, opportunities will seek you out, and blessings will overflow—all because you’re walking in the abundance of grace and the favor of God.

When you pursue the kingdom, everything you need—whether it’s money, influence, or credibility—will pursue you.

Matthew 6:33 is clear: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” The key to unlocking favor lies in understanding its purpose: God favors you so that you can fulfill His purpose. If you make His kingdom your priority, favor will begin to work in your life like never before.

People of God who serve in the kingdom may not always have excess wealth, but they never lack. The favor of God ensures that their needs are met. I’ve seen missionaries whose children, though raised in humble circumstances, have become doctors—simply because of God’s favor. On the other hand, there are wealthy people with all the resources, but no favor to propel their children forward. When you live your life for the kingdom, the kingdom’s resources will come looking for you.

This is more than just attending church on Sunday—it’s about making the kingdom your lifestyle. When your heart beats for the kingdom, when you live for God’s purpose, everything else will follow. Your priorities determine the flow of favor. As soon as you align your priorities with God’s kingdom, the favor will start manifesting in your life.

There’s a distinction in the kingdom between members and servants. Members often stand on the sidelines, entertained by the work of others. But servants? They actively participate in God’s purpose. Jesus had large crowds who witnessed miracles and praised Him, but those same people later turned on Him. Yet, the disciples who were close to Him received the hidden treasures of the kingdom. Jesus shared deep truths with His disciples, unveiling the mysteries behind His parables. That’s the difference between being a spectator and a participant.

Don’t just be a member of the kingdom who watches from the sidelines—serve in the kingdom! Those who serve take responsibility and become vessels of God’s favor. Just like in business, where some employees solve problems while others create them, you have the choice to be an asset or a liability in God’s kingdom.

When you serve the King, you are entitled to be favored by the King. Serving in His kingdom grants you access to His resources, His backing, and His favor. The favor of God follows those who take responsibility and serve His purpose with their whole heart.

To grow in favor is indeed to grow in alignment with God’s purpose for your life.

Ephesians 2:7 reminds us that God desires to show the immeasurable riches of His grace, but these riches become accessible when we operate from our position of favor. This seat of favor is not for personal gain but to rule and reign for God’s kingdom.

Take Nehemiah, for example. He was just a cupbearer—a simple role—but his heart burned for the people of Israel. He couldn’t sleep or eat well because he was burdened by the news of Jerusalem’s destruction. When your heart is aligned with God’s people and His kingdom, your perspective shifts. It’s not just about personal desires—like having a big house or a nice car—but about asking, “How can I promote Your kingdom, Lord?” When your focus is on building God’s kingdom, everything else will follow.

Nehemiah’s passion for his homeland caught the attention of the king, who, upon noticing his sadness, asked why he was upset. Nehemiah expressed his concern for Jerusalem, and the king responded by giving him the resources to rebuild the walls. This is a powerful example of how God can elevate those who have a heart for His kingdom; a simple cupbearer became a governor because he was devoted to God’s purpose.

When you prioritize God’s kingdom—whether it’s through prayer, service, or generosity—you’re not just investing in His work; you’re inviting His favor into your life. Your desire to give, to help, and to pray becomes a conduit for God’s blessings.

I’ve seen this in my own life as well. When I desired to buy my own home, I focused on God’s kingdom instead of striving for material possessions. And just like that, God provided a house as a gift. I didn’t have to labor for it or stress about it; my focus was on serving the kingdom, and God took care of my needs.

In ministry, I’ve witnessed God’s abundant provision. When I stepped out in faith, concerned about financial stability, God reassured me, saying, “Taste and see; you shall not lack any good thing.” More than a decade later, I’ve seen consistent blessings and promotions that I could never have achieved on my own.

So I challenge you: live your life for the kingdom. When you do, the kingdom will take care of you. Your heart’s passion for God’s work unlocks the door to immeasurable grace and favor, creating a life where everything you need will seek you out. When you put God’s purpose first, you’ll find that His blessings will overflow in your life, exceeding all your expectations.

Absolutely! Living for the kingdom goes beyond just attending church on Sundays. It’s about immersing yourself in God’s work every day, asking Him, “How can I partner with You? How can I help establish Your kingdom here on earth?” When you actively serve in the kingdom, you position yourself to receive His favor and resources.

Mark 10:28-30 – Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.

It speaks directly to this principle. Just like Peter expressed his sacrifices in following Jesus, we must recognize that when we leave behind worldly ties for the sake of the kingdom, God promises a hundredfold return—not just in heaven, but right now. This divine multiplication surpasses any earthly promotion because the kingdom promotes in times, not percentages.

Living for the kingdom is a worthy pursuit. I’ve seen firsthand the impact of sacrificial living through my parents’ ministry. Their commitment to God’s work has blessed our family beyond what we could have imagined. I never dreamed of having good clothes or a nice car, yet God has provided abundantly. This is the fruit of their labor and the favor that has been passed down to me.

If your parents have been in ministry, recognize the favor that rests upon you. You are blessed in ways that may not be visible, but they are profoundly significant. When you focus your life on the kingdom, your perspective shifts. It’s not just about a paycheck or a 9-to-5 routine; it’s about a life dedicated to God’s purpose.

I recall a time of false accusations against my parents during their ministry. Yet, the children who grew up in our orphanage stood up for them, sharing testimonies of how their lives were transformed through our parents’ dedication. This support was worth far more than any financial gain; it was a testament to their hard work and faithfulness in the kingdom.

Don’t chase after money or worldly possessions; let them chase after you! When you pursue God’s purpose, He promises to add everything you need. I declare that you shall lack no good thing. No evil shall come against you, and every challenge will be overcome because you are highly favored and deeply loved by God.

I pray for a deep passion for God’s kingdom to stir in your heart. If you once had dreams that now seem impossible, I encourage you to surrender them to the Lord. Trust that He can revive those dreams and make them a reality in His timing.

Pursue His kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. Your passion for God’s work will set you apart, and you will see the favor of the Lord manifest in your life in extraordinary ways. It’s worth it, my friends. It truly is!
